Hello,

I made a CA in a merge module, this CA executes CMD.exe with a command line.
The properties are:

Type: 34
Source: SystemFolder
Target: cmd.exe /c "[INSTALLDIR]andante\components\registerjobsystem.cmd"

This CA is executed in the execute sequence after Install Finalize.

The setup crashes with an Internal Error 2727 (MSI help: The directory entry
'[2]' does not exist in the Directory table) However, in the directory table
this does exist, as a standard item.

Does anyone know how to work around this?

Thanks in advance

Jaap van Alphen

Your source & target strings should look like this:
Source: [SystemFolder]\cmd.exe
Target: /c "[INSTALLDIR]\andante\components\registerjobsystem.cmd"
